Amazing Moves Designer Services began in 2010 with a mission to exceed the expectations of our partners in the design industry. We create a seamless experience for the end user that is built on efficiency and exceptional know-how. We are an extension of the Designer or Showroom partner and they trust us to be an ambassador for their brand.

The Muscle Behind the Creativity

We love seeing the look on clients’ faces when the product they’ve only seen in a photo or diagram is finally set down in the home. All the hard work we do is worth it when we walk through a finished project that was a construction zone a few weeks prior to our arrival.

The user is usually unaware of how many logistics went into the finished project because, as they will say, “Wow, you guys made that look easy.” There is not much that’s easy about what we do, but there is a high level of gratification.

The greatest reward for us is to see the cover of a magazine with a home we installed, or an award announcement for a Design team that uses our services exclusively. We are proud to be the muscle behind the creativity.

Our Staff

Daryl Tolmich

Department Manager /Team Member since 2010

“One of the twins,” Daryl has an extensive background in retail furniture warehousing and logistics. He trained in website design at the Art Institute of Colorado and used this background to help create and develop DSIMS, the company’s custom inventory software. Daryl is a neo-Buddhist manager who not only teaches the processes and procedures needed to manage the daily rigors of this work, but he also coaches his staff about the importance of the energy they bring each day. Daryl enjoys reading, and his eclectic interests span titles from the E-Myth Revisited to Gandhi: An Autobiography - The Story of My Experiments With Truth. He also writes blogs and poetry about life.

Dale Tolmich

Department Operations Manager / Team Member since 2010

Dale’s critical thinking skills solves problems before they happen on job sites. An expert in high-end art installation, he trains our art installation team members. Whenever he is not trying to find the newest way to do, “whatever the clients need us to,” he is riding his stripped-down Harley-Davidson around town, and researching lost music on old jukeboxes. The wild twin who is never without his trademark bandana and swashbuckling smirk, he loves cooking on the grill.

Spud Hughes

Project Leader / Team Member since 2010

Spud always wins clients over with his easy smile and quick laugh. But his real genius is being able to move really heavy things into very intricate places without damaging it or the million-dollar home surrounding it. Respected by his teammates, he is always the voice of reason and the go-to guy when everyone needs a laugh during a long, hard day. Spud designs and builds custom cars in his spare time. He appears in local car shows, and has been featured in national print magazines and websites.

David Strickland

Residential Delivery Driver / Team Member since 2011

David has logged more miles and travel time in his career than most do in a lifetime. He can fix the truck on the side of the road, throw chains on it, and drive it over Independence Pass without missing a stop. David is married and raising 2 beautiful children. He bowls and turns wrenches in his garage during his free time. David may be the quietest team member, but he is constantly inventing more efficient ways to fix problems and resolve clients concerns.

Tim Carr

QC and Dispatch / Team Member since 2011

Tim has spent the last few years perfecting his ability to route and schedule hundreds of deliveries every month. He keeps everyone happy and the drivers in positive moods. Tim is also the first line of defense to insure product that arrives at our facility is what the client is expecting. He communicates to clients about damages, and helps coordinate repairs for case goods, upholstery and leather goods. Tim juggles a modern family and all the quirks that come with teenagers, he enjoys golf when he can squeeze it in, and bakes pizza and calzones on his off time.

A.J. Raymond

Inventory Coordinator / Team Member since 2012

A.J. is the newest member of the leadership team, though he has been with Designer Services for four years and trained extensively in every role. A.J. is accountable for the thousands of packages that arrive at our facility. He assures that they get handled accurately, and efficiently. A.J. is a single Dad raising a great kid. He has an affinity for running long distances and training in various combat techniques, don’t let his size fool you, he is profound.
